JOSHUA DAVIS: MEDIA & TECHNIQUES / PROCESSING 2.0 WITH SVG WORKSHOP

Adobe is delighted to host a special workshop with Joshua Davis, Processing 2.0 with SVG. Learn how to create beautiful, sophisticated and subtle graphical patterns using algorithms and web technologies. Utilizing Processing 2.0 and SVG, students will advance basic generative pattern skills and Joshua will develop working prototypes of interactive designs and animation. If you’d like to experiment with Processing 2.0 during the workshop, please download it prior to the event (http://www.processing.org/download/) and bring your laptop! It’s free to download and use.

Joshua Davis, Joshua Davis Studios
Joshua Davis is a New York based artist and designer, creating public and private works for clients, collectors and museums, and a TED 2005 speaker and winner of the 2001 Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica in the category “Net Excellence.” In December 2006, His work was inducted into the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum’s "National Design Triennial: Design Life Now" exhibit. Besides running his own studio with offices in New York and Chicago, Joshua also teaches graduate students at New York's School of Visual Arts.
